Slate From Chase Review
www.slatefromchase.com is the Chase re-direct for the pre-approved Slate from Chase credit card offer applications that you may have received in the mail. The purpose of that page is to redirect you to the application for the Slate card in a particular offer. The Chase Slate balance transfer credit card offered by JP Morgan Chase used to be known as the Chase Platinum. The current offer from Chase for the Slate credit card is a 0% introductory offer for purchasing for the first fifteen billing cycles. The offer extends to balance transfers with a 0% transfer balance if you have excellent credit. If you have ‘so so’ credit the length of the introductory period for both purchases and balance transfers drops to six months. After the introductory period is over the APR is variable running between 11.99% and 21.99% based on your credit worthiness.
Fees
If you fail to make your monthly payment on time, exceed your credit line, or have a check returned a change will occur in your payments with a penalty APR kicking in at 29.99%. This penalty can be applied to your account indefinitely. Note that this penalty APR will apply if you are late on any loan with Chase or on another Chase account or any of their related banks. You will also be charged with up to $35.00 in fees for late payments, over the credit limit, and return payments. It does not pay to be late on a payment with Chase. The good news is that there is no annual fee for this card. If you use the card responsibly the low APR could make the card very attractive to own.
